Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie - Page Twenty-Two

After they have traveled quite a distance, they arrive in destroyed ruins.  The teens are impressed with the ancient ruins.  Dulcea tells them, the ruins are of the Ninjetti Temple.  Dulcea tells the teens the monolith in the distance is in the Neola Jungle.  Inside the monolith awaits the Power of the Universe.  The monolith is heavily guarded against intruders.  No one has ever survived an attempt to reach it.  Aisha asks, then how can we?  Dulcea tells them they were chosen by Zordon.  I have faith in his wisdom.  Tommy asks Dulcea if she can help them?  Dulcea replies, we will call upon the sacred animals of the Ninjetti for help. 

Mr. Kelman arrives home, but Fred is not there.  He notices the jar of ooze sitting on the counter.  He opens the jar and takes a sniff - it does not smell good.  He then dips his fingers into the goo and an electric current runs through his body.  Mr. Kelman's body begins to shake and he is soon under the control of Ivan Ooze.  He walks out of the house and joins several parents, who are also under Ivan Ooze's control, as they walk out of their neighborhood. 

At the Command Center, Alpha 5 thinks he has repaired the vertical defector and is ready to test it.  The viewing globe initially only has static but soon locks onto a news reporter.  The reporter states, Angel Grove Police have been fielding hundreds of calls from concerned citizens as the number of missing parents continues to grow.  Zordon had watched the viewing globe with growing alarm.
