Operation Lightspeed - Page Eight

Joel gives Carter a skeptical look.  Captain Mitchell continues, demons if you will.  Who's only purpose was to destroy and conquer.  Luckily there was a warlock, who was strong enough to conquer them.  Finally the demons were captured and entombed.  But we always feared that one day they would escape.  And would return to Mariner Bay.  Well, it seems our fears have come true.  Just hours ago, nomads travelers were crossing the dessert and discovered the tomb and released the demons back into our world.  Lightspeed has developed technology and highly sophisticated weapons that we believe can stop them.  As Captain Mitchell talked, Dana stepped forward and opened the folders with the information on the four and places each one in front of them.  Captain Mitchell tells them, because of your skills you have been chosen to use these weapons to defend the city.  To become Lightspeed Power Rangers.  The four are a bit dazed.  Kelsey states, you built these whole aquabase so that the four of us could fight off a bunch of angry demons.  Captain Mitchell is amused and replies, well that's putting it simply but yes.  Joel has now recovered and he tells Captain Mitchell, I've heard you out.  I think you're nuts!  I'm out of here!  Joel stands up and starts to walk away.  Carter asks Joel to wait.  Joel stops.  Carter, under his breath, states, that explains it.  Dana has heard him and asks, explains what?  Carter tells the group, the fire.  When I was saving that girl.  I saw someone - in the flames.  It was one of them.  One of the demons.  An alert signal is heard and both Dana and Captain Mitchell walk over to a small monitor.  Captain Mitchell picks up his ear piece and is told, you need to see this sir.  Captain Mitchell tells the person to bring it up on the monitor.
