Quasar Quest, Part I - Page Eight

 Leo asks, where are we going?  Another GSA member replies to the moon for training exercise.  Leo becomes upset - to the moon!  I just got here!  Leo stops in his tracks, but other members of the GSA push him forward and into the helicopter. 

Once inside the helicopter, Commander Stanton tells the troops, these are the last defense exercises before Terra Venture leaves.  As Commander Stanton talks, Kai on one side and another GSA member on the other side, passes out weapons.  Commander Stanton continues, all your senses need to be on full battle alert.  No mistakes.  Leo spots Kai and turns his head trying to hide his face.  Commander Stanton states, Delta Team you will be first, followed by Gamma.  Remember this is a full battle ready exercise, including explosives.  Leo glances around and can't stop himself from smiling when he sees Kendrix.  When Kendrix glances his way, Leo ducks his head.  Commander Stanton tells them, watch your enemy.  Anticipate.  Stay calm and remember never, never, ever, leave a team member behind.  They all respond, yes sir!   The helicopter takes off.  Commander Stanton steps into the cockpit and checks in.  All systems are running correctly and they continue their way to the moon.

They land on the moon with no problems and everyone is ready for their training exercises.  Mike shouts at them, come on!  Let's move!  The teams take off running.  Explosives go off as the teams run.  Kai leads a team up a small hill.  Kendrix and Leo is with Kai's team as they crouch down.  Kai tells Kendrix and the guy behind her (Leo) to stay here, everyone else go!  Kai and the rest of the team take off running.  Leo keeps his face hidden as the team runs past him.  Once everyone is gone, Leo looks around.  He spots an explosive close by.
