Kimberly is walking down the halls of Angel Grove High School with a newspaper in her hands. She is reading it to Jason, Trini, and Billy as they walk along with her. And because of their contribution to justice, and their unending efforts to protect the entire planet, Angel Grove's city officials declare today Power Ranger Day. They are all excited about the article. Zack walks out of a different hallway and spots his friends. He walks over to them as they pause at the bottom of the stairs. Trini tells him they are reading about the Power Rangers. Zack is interested in what the article says. Kimberly continues, Mayor Carrington hopes that the mysterious super heroes will make a public appearance in Angel Grove park, where countless fans will be gathered to celebrate. Kimberly has a feeling the Power Rangers will show up. With big grins, they walk away from the stairs just as Bulk and Skull are coming down the stairs. Skull is pleading with Bulk to tell him his plans. Bulk and Skull go over to a quiet corner of the hall and Bulk fills Skull in. You know how they are planning that party for the Power Rangers in the park? We are going to steal a little bit of their thunder. We'll show Angel Grove that the Power Rangers aren't the only super heroes in the city! As Bulk talks, he grabs Skull by the jacket and lifts him into the air. Skull agrees to the plan and Bulk drops him. Bulk and Skull walk away.
Rita suggests that maybe they should attend this little party to. Baboo, Squatt, Scorpina, Finster, and Goldar are all with her on the balcony. Baboo gets excited over a social visit, but Goldar corrects him by telling him they are going to destroy the Power Rangers. Rita stood at her alter and used all her power to bring forth Goldar's Cyclopsis. The thunder frighten Finster, Baboo, and Squatt. Goldar vowed that he would not fail her.
There is a big crowd at Angel Grove park. Zack and Jason walk among the crowds. Zack is excited over all of these people coming to see the Power Rangers. Zack spots Angela in the crowd and calls out to her. Angela walks over and Zack asks her out. Angela turns him down and tells him if he was a Power Ranger, she would say yes in a minute. Angela tells him to keep trying and walks away. Jason jokes that it's nice to be appreciated. Zack is very eager to go ahead and morph. Jason calms him down and tells him they still have plenty of time. Billy, Trini, and Kimberly are also at the park. Kimberly is excited over how many people have shown up. They call out a greeting to Ernie and Miss Appleby. They pause for a moment, very excited that everyone is here to see the Power Rangers. Kimberly scans the crowds, but she doesn't see Tommy anywhere. Trini thinks he may feel bad. Kind of left out. Kimberly is confident that Tommy will show up. Billy spots Jason and Zack and they hurry over to their friends.
Baboo, Squatt, Finster, and Goldar are with Rita and she is in a very good mood because of the big crowd at the park. Baboo is surprised. Squatt knows why, they could put lots of people in another dimension, which will make it easy to hunt the Rangers down. Finster announces that the dimensional vortex beam is ready. Goldar notes, soon everyone of them will be our prisoners. Rita is very happy.
Bulk and Skull arrive at the park. Bulk takes a picture of a Power Ranger off the photo booth and squashes it and tosses it to the ground. Bulk tells Skull today is the day Angel Grove is going to meet it's newest super heroes. Bulk and Skull enter the photo booth to change into their super hero costumes. They emerge and walk through the crowds, oblivious to the stares and laughter of the crowd. They head towards the stage, determined to show up those Power Rangers. Jason asks his friends if they are ready to morph? Zack is very ready, I got to impress Angela. Bulk shouts out of our way as he walks through them, with Skull following close behind. Kimberly asks her friends, what are they doing in those costumes? Jason tells his friends, this is something I got to see. Bulk and Skull get up on stage and walk towards the podium. Bulk greets the crowds.
