Happy Birthday, Zack - Page Three
Suddenly the Nasty Knight appears.
The following day, Kimberly enters Angel Grove High School and heads straight for her locker. Zack is coming down the stairs and spots her. In a very good mood, Zack says hi to Kimberly and asks her if he looks any older. Kimberly tells him no and quickly turns around. Kimberly tries to come up with a story. Kimberly turns around and Zack asks if she just remembered something. Kimberly has - she forgot it was her poodle's birthday. Zack is very disappointed and walks away dejected. Kimberly feels lousy. Trini, Billy, and Jason walk over. They say hi to Zack, but he barely makes a response. Billy, Jason, and Trini walk over to Kimberly and ask what is wrong. Kimberly tells them that Zack thinks they forgot his birthday. Kimberly is having her doubts whether having the surprise party is a good idea. Trini tells Kimberly Zack will be okay. Billy adds his feeling of disappointment will only heighten his joy about his party. Jason tells her that Zack is going to be so excited, they will have to peel him off the ceiling. Kimberly feels better. The bell rings. Trini and Jason head off towards one class, while Kimberly and Billy head off to another.
Zack is walking outside the city, through one of the mountain paths. Zack is very upset over his friends forgetting his birthday. Zack assumes they are too busy with their own lives, which he thinks is messed up. Zack sits down and wishes he had just stayed in bed. Rita calls out a happy birthday. Zack looks up and sees Rita and Goldar standing above him. Rita tells him she has a present for him and even is having Baboo and Squatt tape it. Zack looks on the other side and sees Baboo and Squatt with a video camera and a microphone. Rita then presents Nasty Knight. Zack quickly morphs. Black Ranger battles Nasty Knight with his Power Ax. Black Ranger has a difficult time against Nasty Knight. Goldar leaps into battle as well and battles Black Ranger. Black Ranger is knocked down a hill. Baboo and Squatt have a difficult time with the camera. But Rita is very pleased with the battle.
In the Command Center, Zordon senses a disturbance in the Morphin grid. Zordon asks Alpha 5 to activate the viewing globe. Alpha 5 hurries to do so. The viewing globe shows Black Ranger battling Nasty Knight on his own.
