Then the race began and Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly cheered their friends on. After awhile, the competitors finish the swimming section of the triathlon. Adam, Aisha, and Rocky are in the lead. They run over to their friends, Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly. They help them get ready for the next segment, biking. Once Adam, Rocky, and Aisha are off, Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly walk to the next section of the marathon. The Putties arrive and the three teens began battling them. Aisha, Adam, and Rocky who are doing the bicycling section of the triathlon and are in the lead, stop their bikes. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha join Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly in their battle against the Putties. Tommy and his friends battle and destroy the Putties. Tommy feels bad that it had cost Rocky, Aisha, and Adam the race. Rocky tells him there was no other choice. Zordon contacts Tommy and tells him they need to get to the Command Center. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly teleport out. Inside the Command Center, Zordon fills in the three teens with what is going on. The viewing globe shows Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger in trouble and under Beamcaster's spell. Tommy asks Billy if he can make a device that would reverse Lord Zedd's spell? Billy believes that he can and begins working on it. There is urgency because the longer the three Rangers stay under the spell, the harder it will be to break them from it. Soon Billy finishes the device. Billy would like to test it first, but there is no time. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly morph. White Ranger takes on Beamcaster. Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger land further away. Before Blue Ranger can use his device the crowd surrounds them. Black Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Red Ranger tug on Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger. The device falls to the ground and gets trampled. Beamcaster then hits Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger. Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger are now under Lord Zedd's spell. Quickly Beamcaster places White Ranger under his spell as well. Thankfully, Rocky, Aisha, and Adam arrive and find the device. Alpha 5 teleports them to the Command Center, where Aisha quickly repairs the device. Zordon directs them to hold it towards the viewing globe and direct it at the Power Rangers. Aisha and Rocky hold onto the device as it shoots it's beam at the Power Rangers. It is difficult and not working. Zordon uses his energy as well and then the spell is broken for White Ranger and the rest of the Rangers. The Rangers quickly teleport to the Command Center. Zordon fills them in. Rocky gives Blue Ranger the device and the Rangers teleport out. The Rangers face down Beamcaster. Blue Ranger uses the device on Beamcaster, but it doesn't destroy him or break the spell. Beamcaster throws several explosives at the Rangers and White Ranger tosses them back, in time to explode while Beamcaster has them. The Rangers use their Power Blaster and destroy Beamcaster. Once Beamcaster is destroy, the spell is broken. The triathlon concludes with running. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha are last. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly cheer them on until the finish line. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly feel bad their friends couldn't have won. They walk over to Rocky, Aisha, and Adam. Tommy thanks them for their help and Rocky thanks them for sticking with them and cheering them on. Adam adds helping them was the most important thing they ever done. The six friends are in high spirits.

Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy are at the Youth Center. The TV is on and the news announcer is talking. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly walked up to the counter to listen, as does the rest of the crowd at the Youth Center. Bulk and Skull are there as well. They are confident they will be selected and have even dressed the part. Bulk and Skull feed each other chocolate and comment on how Swiss chocolate tastes good at this time of year. TV Reporter: "Out of thousands of entrants, three names were announce today as the lucky students invited to attend the World Peace Summit in Switzerland. The three youths will meet and then travel with teens from all over the world to discuss global problems that affect all of us. Young and old. The three teens selected are Jason Lee Scott, Zackary Taylor, and Trini Kwan." Kimberly squeals in excitement and the guys can't believe it. Bulk and Skull are disappointed. Ernie says congrats and then asks where are they? Kimberly knows - they are taking a bike ride in the park. Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy dash off to tell their friends the good news. Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy race to the park. They spot Trini, Jason, and Zack in the distance. Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly run over and tell their friends the news. Jason, Zack, and Trini are thrilled. Tommy and his friends have gathered inside the Command Center.
