Variblune continues the destruction. Akira, Kenji, Tsuyoshi, Peggy, Commander Edogawa, and Daita watch with horror. Daita states, we must get the Variblune back now! Akira decides he will go. Akira leaves and makes his way towards the mountains. Akira fights and defeats a couple of Zolders. He tries to stop a cable car, but is unable to. Then he leaps onto the cable car and grabs a hold of a cable from inside the cab and holds on for dear life. Akira makes his way to the door opening of the cable car. Two Zolders drag to shake him off. Below is a lake, and Tsuyoshi has been following on a boat. After circling, Tsuyoshi fires his Silver Shot at the Zolders. One is hit and falls down into the lake. Akira kicks the other two Zolders. On the shore, two Zolders throw explosives at Tsuyoshi's boat. Akira is worried about Tsuyoshi. Tsuyoshi quickly resurfaces. Akira is relived that Tsuyoshi is ok. Akira uses the steal beams to make the rest of the way to Rainbow Fortress. Akira encounters a couple of Zolders and defeats them. Akira soon spots a truck and follows it. The truck enters a hangar. Akira follows, staying high above on the steel beams. Rainbow Mask is directing several Zolders to load up Variblune with missiles.
