Moments later, Jason and Kimberly entered Billy's lab and they watch the news and feel uneasy and alarmed. Billy works frantically, trying to establish communications between the Rangers and the Command Center. After awhile, Tommy teleports to Billy's lab and everyone is happy to see him. Alpha 5 appears on the computer screen. In the background, Zordon tells them the green crystal must be destroyed and only a non-ranger can do it. Tommy volunteers to go, stating he has some payback. Tommy teleports to the other world and destroys the green crystal. Quickly, Tommy teleports back to Billy's lab in triumph and the morphers are returned to Billy, Trini, Zack, Kimberly, and Jason. Tommy tells them after touching the green crystal, he feels he has enough power for one more battle. Billy, Zack, Kimberly, Jason, Trini, and Tommy morph and teleport out. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers arrive in the business district of Angel Grove. The Rangers summoned their zords and form Thunder Megazord. The Rangers battle Turbanshell. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger are ejected from Thunder Megazord. Soon after the zords separate. Zordon contacts Green Ranger and tells him Turbanshell needs to be attack from within with heat. Green Ranger hides in a crate of watermelons. Turbanshell spots the crate and becomes hungry and eats it. Green Ranger begins firing the laser within Turbanshell's stomach. Black Ranger picks up a hose and starts firing cold water at Turbanshell. Turbanshell ejects Green Ranger. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Black Ranger, and Pink Ranger race over and make sure Green Ranger is okay. The zords come back and the Thunder Megazord is formed once more. Thunder Megazord destroys Turbanshell. After the battle, in the Youth Center, Billy, Tommy, Jason, Kimberly, Trini, and Zack are sitting at tables. Trini tells them the Dark Rangers have been returned to normal and have no memories of what had happened. The new teens then walk into the Youth Center and order five cokes. Kimberly thinks maybe they just need some friends. Billy, Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Tommy walk up to the counter. Jason tells Ernie and Richie he will cover the tab. Jason faces the new teens and tells them he would like to start over again. The new teens agreed and everyone introduces each other. Later, in the Command Center, Zordon congratulates Tommy on a job well done. Tommy tells them how he is going to miss them, and they will always be in his heart. The teens place their hands in the center, for one last time, and then leap into the air, shouting Power Rangers.

Zack tells Billy and Kimberly that he is worried about Jason. The gang talks. Kimberly thinks if they can find Tommy and see he is okay, Jason will be better. Billy, Kimberly, Zack, and Trini, who has joined them, start driving. They are looking for Tommy's uncle's cabin. After awhile, Zack pulls the car over and they all get out. Billy looks at the map and concludes that they are lost. Goldar appears and they morph. Goldar uses his sword and teleports the four Rangers away. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger are being held in Lord Zedd's Dimension of Doom. Goldar uses the last remains of the green candle to light the pink candle, yellow candle, blue candle, and black candle. The candles will drain their power. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger are getting weaker and weaker. Red Ranger enters the Dimension of Doom and battles Goldar. During the battle, the candles get knock over and burst into flames. Goldar is convinced it is the end of the Power Rangers. Red Ranger knocks Goldar aside. Red Ranger unlocks the cell the Rangers are being held in. Red Ranger asks them to give him their power coins. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger give Red Ranger their power coins. Red Ranger straightens up the candles and lights them using the power coins. The power is return to the Rangers. Each Ranger goes through the doorway back to the Command Center. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrive in the Command Center, but immediately notice that Jason is not with them. Zordon tells them how Jason stayed behind to make sure they arrived safe. Moments later, Jason arrives. The rest of the Rangers are happy and relieved to see Jason is okay. Zordon tells Jason what a fine leader he is. Alpha 5 tells them he has located Tommy. Billy, Kimberly, Trini, Jason, and Zack look at the viewing globe. Tommy is by the lake, like Kimberly thought he would be. Tommy is writing them a letter where he tells them he needs to get his head together. Tommy writes to Jason that he doesn't blame him for what has happen and to take good care of the team. They need him and he does too. Tommy tells Jason to win the tournament. Jason happily tells his friends he is going to win the tournament for Tommy. Afterwards, Billy, Kimberly, Zack, and Jason are about to enter the Youth Center for the tournament, when they are stopped by Bulk and Skull. Bulk and Skull tell them they have proof they were close to the Power Rangers. Skull whips out a stack of photos and quickly grabs one to display to them. Billy, Kimberly, Jason, and Zack all burst out laughing as the photo is a picture of a bird's nest. Billy, Kimberly, Jason, and Zack, still chuckling, enter the Youth Center. Upon entering, Jason is greeted with cheers and applause, as everyone wishes him well. Jason does his routine and wins the tournament. Everyone cheers and Billy and Zack hoist Jason up. Jason dedicates the trophy to Tommy.

Billy, Zack, and Kimberly are walking through the park, headed for the Jazz Festival. They run into Bulk and Skull. Bulk and Skull have another scheme on finding the identities of the Power Rangers by collecting footprints. Billy, Kimberly, and Zack continue on their way, until they are attack by Putties. Billy, Zack, and Kimberly fight Zedd's Putties. After awhile, the Putties vanish, Kimberly notes the attack wasn't random, but they have to get to the festival. Moments later, Billy, Zack, and Kimberly arrive at the Youth Center. Zack gives Curtis his uncle's trumpet at the same time mentioning they ran into trouble at the park. Soon the jazz festival begins. As Curtis plays, the trumpet casts it's spell on Billy, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Jason. After the festival, Billy, Trini, Jason, Kimberly, and Zack tell Curtis what a great job he did. Unseen, a Putty takes the trumpet. Curtis enjoys the praise until he realizes that the trumpet is gone. Zack is worried that his parents are going to be mad at him. Later, Billy, Trini, Jason, Kimberly, and Zack go for a walk through the park. Zack is still upset over the missing trumpet, although his friends try to cheer him up. Unseen by the teens, Trumpet Top is close by and casts a spell, making Grumble Bee appear. They stopped in their tracks when they notice Grumble Bee, a monster they had already defeated. Billy, Jason, Kimberly, Zack, and Trini morph. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers face down Grumble Bee. The Rangers charge toward Grumble Bee. Trumpet Top is delighted. Saliguana and Fighting Flea appear. The three monsters face down the Rangers. The Rangers fight Saliguana, Fighting Flea, and Grumble Bee. Soccadillo quickly joins the fight. The Rangers break apart to fight the various "monsters." Blue Ranger yells at Black Ranger to hang on as he races over to help. Blue Ranger joins Black Ranger in fighting Praying Mantis. Blue Ranger is knocked off his feet. Despite their best efforts, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Black Ranger soon find themselves surrounded by Praying Mantis, Slippery Shark, Fighting Flea, and Soccadillo. Moments later, Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger join the guys. Fighting Flea, Rhinoblaster, Praying Mantis, Stag Beetle, Slippery Shark, Saliguana, and Soccadillo surround them. The Rangers break through the circle and continue to fight the "monsters." Suddenly the Rangers are teleported to the Command Center. Billy, Jason, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini are confused on why they had been teleported to the Command Center with so many monsters in Angel Grove. Zordon has them look into the viewing globe - which shows Trumpet Top. Zordon tells the Rangers that Trumpet Top has been made out of Zack's trumpet, and it has cast a spell on them, causing them to see monsters which are not there. The only way to break the spell is to defeat Trumpet Top. The Rangers morph back into action. Trumpet Top is already giant size by the time the Rangers return. The Rangers call for their thunderzords and form the Thunder Megazord. In the Thunder Megazord, the Rangers battle Trumpet Top and eventually destroy him. After the battle, Billy, Trini, Jason, Zack, and Kimberly are hanging out at the Juice Bar, when Curtis walks in, all dejected. Curtis is still upset over the missing trumpet. Billy passes down the trumpet and Trini gives it to Curtis, who is thrilled to have the trumpet back. Bulk and Skull walk in with a large cement block of footprints. Bulk and Skull demand that everyone line up at the bar, and they are going to match up footprints. Zack suggests to Richie that he play some tunes. Richie turns on the radio and everyone storms over to the dance floor. Bulk and Skull managed to hold the cement block. Skull gives Bulk a pat on the back and Bulk drops the cement block, destroying the footprints. Bulk and Skull are upset as Kimberly tells them maybe it's better they don't know who the Power Rangers are. Zack tells them it's nothing to go to pieces about and Billy, Jason, Curtis, Trini, Kimberly, and Zack laugh.

Billy and Kimberly are sitting inside Angel Grove Youth Center. Kimberly misses Tommy. Billy: "Sure is quiet around here without Tommy." Kimberly doesn't respond. Billy notices Kimberly holding a mirror and tries again. Billy: "Interesting mirror." Kimberly: "Thanks, Tommy won it for me at a carnival." A few moments later, Kimberly notices an ad for Madam Swampy, fortune teller. Kimberly wants to give Madam Swampy a try, to find out how Tommy is doing. Billy is skeptical, but he doesn't stop Kimberly. Billy and Kimberly leave. Billy to meet friends in the park, and Kimberly to find Madam Swampy. Later, Billy and Zack are rollerblading in the park. They are waiting on Curtis and Richie. Soon, Zack's communicator goes off. Zordon tells Billy and Zack, we have an emergency. Teleport to the Command Center immediately. Alpha will contact Trini. Billy and Zack teleport to the Command Center. Moments later, Billy, Zack, and Trini are in the Command Center. Zordon has been unable to contact Jason, the mountains blocking the signal. Billy, Trini, and Zack look to the viewing globe, which shows Goldar carrying Kimberly. Zordon tells the teens how Lord Zedd plans to make Kimberly his new bride. Zordon also shows the teens that their friends are in trouble. Zack tells Billy and Trini to go rescue Kimberly, he will take care of the Putties in the park.
