Page Thirty-Five

Billy becomes alarmed and takes off. After awhile, Kimberly is at her locker, looking over some papers when Billy, Aisha, Adam, and Rocky walk up. Aisha tells Kimberly that they need to talk. She tells her that her campaign has gotten completely out of control. Kimberly doesn't think there is anything wrong with wanting to win at all costs. Rocky's communicator goes off. Billy, Aisha, Adam, and Kimberly gather close to Rocky. Rocky tells Zordon, we read you Zordon. What's going on? Zordon tells them that Tommy needs their help in the park. Zordon continues, you must go immediately. Kimberly mutters figures as she slams her locker door shut. Billy, Rocky, Aisha, Kimberly, and Adam morph. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, Red Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrive in the park. They quickly spot White Ranger battling the Putties and Goldar. Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, our friend is in trouble guys, you know what to do. Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Pink Ranger race over to the fight. Red Ranger leaps in and kicks a Putty away. Red Ranger battles and defeats another Putty. Red Ranger tells White Ranger that they are here and ask if he is okay. White Ranger replies he is. Red Ranger tells him they will take on these goons. Soon Red Ranger is knocked to the ground. Pink Ranger hurries over and asks if he is okay? Red Ranger tells her they want Tommy. We got to help him. Pink Ranger groans and mutters he can't do anything right. I'll help him. Pink Ranger leaps into the fight. Pink Ranger is battling a couple of Putties when White Ranger walks up and asks what is she doing? Pink Ranger tells him, that he is useless. Why don't you let me handle this before you get hurt. Pink Ranger and White Ranger face each other. Pink Ranger knocks down another Putty with her hand gestures, but she is unaware of it as she is too angry with White Ranger to pay attention to anything else. Pink Ranger calls White Ranger an arrogant airhead. White Ranger walks away. Pink Ranger follows, stepping on the back of a Putty as she makes her way towards White Ranger. Goldar stares in confusion as Pink Ranger yells at White Ranger, just inches away from Goldar. Pink Ranger taunts White Ranger that he can't take the competition. White Ranger and Pink Ranger yell at each other, paying no attention to Goldar. Goldar places his hand on Pink Ranger's shoulder and she pushes it away, telling him to buzz off. Pink Ranger and White Ranger's argument continues until Goldar gets fed up. He grabs Pink Ranger and knocks her to the ground. A couple of Putties grab White Ranger. Goldar laughs and takes Saba. Goldar tells White Ranger your bad day just got worse! Goldar laughs. White Ranger tells Goldar to give back Saba. You don't know what you are doing. Saba demands that Goldar put him down. White Ranger breaks free from the Putties holding him. He battles and defeats them. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger are fighting another group of Putties. During the battle, Blue Ranger notices that Goldar has Saba. Pink Ranger is battling another set of Putties. White Ranger vows he will get Saba back. Goldar starts to walk away. White Ranger yells at Goldar to hold it right there! During her battle with the Putties, Pink Ranger notices White Ranger running towards Goldar. Pink Ranger leaves the battle to run after Goldar too. White Ranger tells her to leave it to a professional. Pink Ranger and White Ranger end up bumping into each other and they fall to the ground. White Ranger immediately blames Pink Ranger. Pink Ranger blames White Ranger. They both get up and get into each other's face as they yell at each other. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers run up to break them up. Goldar turns around and laughs at the Power Rangers. Goldar thinks it's time to see what Saba can do. Saba fires at the Rangers and they are hit. The Rangers fall to the ground. Goldar declares, now that is what I call fun! Red Ranger notes Goldar has figured out how to use Saba. They have to pull back. The teens arrive in the Command Center. Billy tells Zordon that Goldar has captured Saba. Tommy immediately blames Kimberly. I could have taken him back if she hadn't gotten in the way. Kimberly replies that his ponytail is too tight. Kimberly and Tommy start to argue until Billy stops them. Billy asks Zordon if it is possible that Kimberly and Tommy are under a spell? That might explain why they are acting so irrationally. Zordon asks Alpha 5 to run a diagnostic scan on them. Alpha 5 does so. Zordon tells Billy his suspicions were correct. Rita has placed them under a powerful spell. Aisha asks what can we do about it? Zordon replies, there is only one solution to this problem. Two bouquets of roses appear on the control panel. Aisha and Billy walk over and pick up the roses. Zordon instructs Kimberly and Tommy to smell the roses. Symbols of love and friendship and they will counteract Rita's spell. Tommy tells Zordon he doesn't mean to be a jerk, but what....Kimberly makes a snide remark, having a hard time not doing that. This leads into another argument between Kimberly and Tommy. Aisha tells them to just do it for the team and passes her bouquet to Tommy. Billy gives his to Kimberly. Tommy tells Kimberly he is only doing this for the Rangers. Kimberly replies, me too. Kimberly and Tommy smell the roses and the spell is broken. Kimberly and Tommy feel instant remorse for the words they have said. Tommy apologizes to Kimberly. Kimberly apologizes as well. Kimberly confesses she said some pretty terrible things. Tommy tells Kimberly, I would never do anything to hurt you. You know that right? Kimberly does. The alarm goes off. The teens gather in front of the viewing globe. Zordon tells them that Rita has appeared in the park with Saba. The viewing globe shows Rita Repulsa dancing, along with Goldar, Squatt, and Baboo. Zordon warns the teens that Rita can now control the Tiger Zord. Tommy remarks they have to try and get Saba back. Billy tells his friends that Saba is made of metal. Maybe Alpha 5 can build a hand held electric magnet that is powerful enough to pull him out of Rita's hands. Alpha 5 is willing to try. Tommy tells his friends to go back in action. He will stay with Alpha 5. Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, Red Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrive. Rita Repulsa is excited to see the Power Rangers arrive. Pink Ranger demands that Rita give Saba back. Rita gloats, finders keepers! She then sticks out her tongue at them. Red Ranger wonders what she's up to? Rita has waited a long time to say this, Tiger Zord Power! Tiger Zord arrives. Blue Ranger summons Unicorn Thunderzord. The rest of the Rangers summon their Thunderzords and form Thunder Megazord. White Ranger arrives later, unseen. Tiger Zord lands a hard punch on Thunder Megazord. Thunder Megazord lands on the ground. Baboo, Squatt, Rita Repulsa, and Goldar cheer as they watch the battle. White Ranger spots them and walks up from behind them. He hides by a bush and tree. Baboo and Squatt are right in front of him. White Ranger hopes the electric magnet works. Rita tells Tiger Zord to finish them off. Thunder Megazord has gotten back up. Tiger Zord and Thunder Megazord continue to battle. It's a difficult battle. Red Ranger suggests they switch to auxiliary power. Tiger Zord lands several more punches on Thunder Megazord. The Rangers summon the power sword. Thunder Megazord and Tiger Zord battle each other with their swords. White Ranger leaps away from the tree and holds out the electric magnet. It works and pulls Saba out of Rita's hands and back to White Ranger. Tiger Zord steps so close to Squatt, Rita, Goldar, and Baboo that it almost steps on them. Rita vows you have not seen the last of me and then vanishes, along with Goldar, Baboo, and Squatt. White Ranger tells Saba, we did it! The following day, the student elections are being held at the Youth Center. A large crowd of students are there, including Billy, Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, to listen to the speeches. Mr. Caplan is there as well. Kimberly finishes her speech and Tommy is next. Instead of giving a speech on why he should be elected, he gives a speech on why the students should vote for Kimberly. She has really done her homework for this campaign. She has addressed all the tough issues and has some great ideas on how to solve problems at the school. She would make an incredible president. One that I will be proud to vote for. Kimberly is touch and flattered by Tommy's vote of confidence for her. Tommy leads the crowd into applauding for Kimberly. Skull enters with several instruments strapped on him. Skull announces the next president of Angel Grove High - Bulk. Bulk walks in. Skull is unaware of this as he turns to face the doorway and accidentally knocks Bulk aside with the drum strapped on his back. Skull screams for Bulk as the crowd chuckles. Bulk walks up to the podium for his speech. Bulk tells the crowd, once again, let me make my campaign platform perfectly clear. Everyone is a little distracted by Skull in the background, bumping into items and trying to make his way to the podium. Bulk continues, I will reveal the true identities of the Power Rangers. Skull finally reaches the podium as the crowd applauds for Bulk. Skull manages to knock Mr. Caplan and Bulk off the platform. Everyone laughs. After awhile, the election results are in. They are passed on to Mr. Caplan. Mr. Caplan calls for everyone's attention. I have here the election results. And the new president of Angel Grove High School is......Kimberly Hart! Billy, Adam, Aisha, Rocky, and the rest of the crowd cheer, except for Bulk and Skull. Billy, Aisha, Rocky, and Adam walk up to Kimberly. Aisha tells Kimberly congratulations. Tommy gives Kimberly a flower and tells her, for Kimberly, the best person for the job. Kimberly is very flattered.

Angel Grove High School is having a book fair. Billy and Adam are looking through books. Adam turns around when he hears Billy's excited voice. Adam asks Billy, what is it? Billy is excited he has found "Physics Can Be Fun". He has been looking for a copy for months. Billy and Adam walk down the hall, soon joined by Aisha and Rocky. Aisha can't believe they didn't have a book fair at their old school. Rocky thinks it's a really good idea. Billy tells them the proceeds benefit the school library. A female student walks up and tells Aisha she has to check out the career table. They actually have a book on how to break into the fashion business. Aisha leaves with her. Moments later, Billy and Adam head off for the Youth Center. Later, at the Youth Center, Billy is engrossed in his book as he sits down at a table with Adam. Adam is reading his book as well when Aisha walks up to the table. She is surprised that Kimberly and the others aren't here yet. Adam replies, nope, but they said they would cut through the park. They should be here soon. Aisha asks what Adam is reading and he shows her his book. Aisha then checks out Billy's book. After some time, Aisha tells Billy and Adam that Tommy is always late, but Kimberly and Rocky should have been here by now. Billy agrees and suggests they check back at the book fair. Billy, Adam, and Aisha leave. Back at Angel Grove High School, Billy, Adam, and Aisha walk up to Miss Appleby and ask about Tommy, Kimberly, and Rocky. Miss Appleby tells them they were here awhile ago, but she is sure they have left. They thank Miss Appleby and walk away. Billy, Adam, and Aisha find a quiet corner. Billy tries to contact Tommy but gets no response. Adam tries for Kimberly and Rocky, but gets no answer. Aisha notes, this is getting serious. Billy suggests they go back to the Command Center and inform Zordon. Billy, Adam, and Aisha teleport out of Angel Grove High School. Billy, Adam, and Aisha arrived in the Command Center and tell Zordon how they can't find Kimberly, Rocky, and Tommy. Alpha 5 panics and asks Zordon, where can they be? Zordon tells them, I'm afraid they have fallen into a dangerous trap set by Lord Zedd and Rita. Those two have become a formidable team. Billy tries to track their signal from their communicators. Zordon thinks that's an excellent idea. Adam and Aisha hover over Billy. Aisha tells Billy to hurry. I'm getting worried. Billy works on trying to lock on their signal. After a few moments, Billy announces that he has found them. They should be coming up on the viewing globe. Billy, Adam, and Aisha walk over to the viewing globe and sees their friends there. Aisha notes they are in trouble. Adam wonders where they are? Billy asks Zordon if he can pinpoint their location? Zordon replies the exact location is difficult to obtain. Their signal tells me they are in the middle of a story book. But it doesn't give me the location of the book itself. Alpha 5 tells Zordon this story needs to be rewritten and fast. Alpha 5 exclaims, this will never be a best seller! Adam and Aisha have been keeping an eye on their friends, via the viewing globe. Aisha asks Billy, what's going on? Billy replies, their morphers are experiencing hyper thermal malfunctioning - frozen. Aisha asks if there is any way they can get inside the book and help? Billy is not sure. He would have to analyze the book himself. Adam thinks by the time they find it, it will be too late.

On the viewing globe, the Snow Monster warns Tommy, Kimberly, and Rocky that this will teach you to trespass in my valley. Billy, Adam, and Aisha are very worried for their friends. Adam wonders if his friends are okay. Billy replies, it's impossible to tell from here. Aisha tells the guys they can't give up. We got to find the book and figure out a way to get into it. Adam asks Zordon, if he can tell them where it is? Zordon has just located the book. It's with all the others back at the high school book fair. Alpha 5 panics. That could take hours to find. Aisha adds, who knows what Lord Zedd and Rita will do by then. Billy, Adam, and Aisha head off for the book fair. At Angel Grove High School, Billy, Adam, and Aisha frantically search through the books. Aisha tells the guys, we got to hurry. The book has got to be here somewhere. Adam points out that they don't even have a clue as to what the title is. What are we looking for? Billy encourages them to keep looking. Billy, Adam, and Aisha go back to searching through the books, unaware that the book is close by. After awhile, Aisha comments, I love reading, but this is getting ridiculous. Adam adds, some of these titles. Billy points to the title of the book he has, Know Your Iguana. They all smile. Aisha picks up a book to mock it's title, Grumble the Magic Elf. They all have a chuckle until the book emits a strange glow. Aisha wonders what's happening? She drops the book and it slides under the table. Billy, Adam, and Aisha crawl under the table to take a look at the book. Billy opens the book and they see Tommy, Kimberly, and Rocky inside the pages. Aisha can't believe they found the book. Adam is relieved that they are okay. Aisha points out that they are trapped in the cave. We got to help them. Back at the Command Center, Billy is scanning the story book. He can't figure out a way to alter their molecular structure. The alarm goes off. Aisha asks Zordon, what is going on? Zordon replies, there's trouble in Angel Grove Park, behold the viewing globe. Adam comments, I don't think I'm ready for more trouble. Billy, Adam, Aisha, and Alpha 5 all go over to the viewing globe. The viewing globe shows Bulk and Skull up in a tree with a monster just underneath them. Billy and Alpha 5 wonder what is that thing on the ground. Adam replies, a Thanksgiving nightmare. Zordon informs them it's the Turkey Jerk monster created by Bulk and Skull to lure you into the park so they can unmask you. Billy, Adam, Aisha, and Alpha 5 turn around and face Zordon. Zordon continues, Bulk and Skull didn't know that Rita and Zedd would bring the monster to life. Rita and Zedd have also equipped it with powerful weapons that can destroy Angel Grove. Aisha, frustrated, comments that Bulk and Skull never learn. Zordon tells them they must first defeat the Turkey Jerk monster before it destroys the city. Then you can rescue the other Rangers. Billy, Adam, and Aisha morph and teleport out. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger arrived at the park and face Turkey Jerk. Bulk and Skull are very excited to see the three Rangers. Bulk knew they would come. Skull laughs. Turkey Jerk thinks Bulk and Skull are it's parents, and they will have fun blowing up the city. Blue Ranger informs Turkey Jerk that those two are not your parents. Black Ranger tells him, he's not blowing up anything. Turkey Jerk pulls out a large baster. Turkey Jerk thinks the three Rangers need a good baking. Turkey Jerk fires the syringe and it blasts the three Rangers. Turkey Jerk comments, cooked to perfection. Blue Ranger was hit hard, but reassures his friends that he is okay. Black Ranger is ready to pluck that bird. Yellow Ranger urges caution, she thinks Billy needs a moment to rest. After a moment, Blue Ranger recovers. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger battle Turkey Jerk. It is a difficult battle. Black Ranger is fed up, let's crave this turkey! Black Ranger summons his Power Ax. Black Ranger battles Turkey Jerk with his Power Ax. During the battle, Black Ranger manages to knock the baster away. Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger gather around Black Ranger. Blue Ranger warns Turkey Jerk, he better be prepared to have his wings clipped. Turkey Jerk replies, I was going to offer you a side of cranberries for when you eat crow. Turkey Jerk tosses the cranberries towards the three Rangers. The cranberries are explosives and hits the three Rangers. Blue Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, we have to think of something quick. Otherwise we're going to end up as southern fried Rangers. Black Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, I think we got to go at him from all sides. Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger agree. Black Ranger just hopes their strength holds up. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger continue their battle with Turkeyjerk. Turkeyjerk easily knocks them aside. The three Rangers regroup. Yellow Ranger suggests the Power Cannon. Blue Ranger thinks it's a good idea and they summon the Power Cannon. Turkeyjerk charges towards the Rangers, confident he is going to make stuffing out of them. Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger fire the Power Cannon and Turkey Jerk is destroyed. Bulk and Skull cheer. Blue Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers they need to report back to the Command Center. Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, and Yellow Ranger teleport out. At the Command Center, Billy is looking through the book. Billy notes the story is rewriting itself as Tommy and the others go through it. Aisha asks, they are trying to get out? Billy replies that it appears that way. Adam points out that the story is over when those toys are delivered to the orphan children. Maybe if we can help with that, we can get the other Rangers out. Zordon thinks it's an excellent idea. However, I can't locate the frequency to enable you to teleport into the book. Aisha gets an idea. Aisha asks Alpha 5 to get her some colored pencils. Alpha 5 promptly gives them to Aisha and she quickly starts drawing in the book. Aisha tells her friends, I'll draw the toys and then Grumble will have them to deliver to the children. Billy, Adam, and Aisha are thrilled to see that it worked. They followed the pages as they follow their friends. Adam only hopes they make it to the end. The alarms go off in the Command Center. Alpha 5 tells them, Zedd and Rita have taken Mondo the Magician out of the story book and set him loose on Angel Grove. Billy picks up the book stares through the hole in the page. He is concern that Rocky, Tommy, and Kimberly have not returned yet. Suddenly they appear. Tommy asks, did you miss us? Aisha confirms that they did. Aisha also tells them that Rita and Zedd have taken Mondo out of the story book. Rocky replies, we better get busy then. The six teens morph and teleport out. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers arrive and summon their Thunderzords. The Rangers enter their Thunderzords. Thunder Megazord is formed. White Ranger has White Tiger Zord go into warrior mode. Mondo the Magician twirls his sword as he runs towards the Megazords. Thunder Megazord and Mondo the Magician battled. Mondo the Magician formed a weird electric current in front of him. It then struck the Thunder Megazord several times. The Rangers lost control and Thunder Megazord fell to the ground. Mondo the Magician demanded that Thunder Megazord get back up, so he could finish them off. Tiger Zord Warrior Mode arrived. Mondo the Magician prepared to battle Tiger Zord Warrior Mode. Tiger Zord knocked Mondo the Magician to the ground. Thunder Megazord got back up and summoned it's sword. Mondo the Magician also got back up. Thunder Megazord destroyed Mondo the Magician with it's sword. Afterwards, the teens have returned to Angel Grove High School and are helping with cleaning up the book fair. Adam asks Tommy, what was it like being in that book? Tommy replies, I never really liked fairy tales, but hey, this one was pretty exciting. Rocky adds, that's putting it mildly. Kimberly hopes Rita and Zedd are out of the story telling business for good. Tommy adds, their plot twist was a little too intense. Everyone chuckles. Miss Appleby walks up with great news. The book fair was a big hit. The teens are very happy, that should help the library. Bulk and Skull come walking down the hall. Miss Appleby thinks they have come back for more books. Instead Bulk and Skull would like to donate "Monster Making Made Easy" and "How To Make A Thanksgiving Feast" back to the book fair. Miss Appleby takes the books. Bulk and Skull add that their monster making days are done. With a sly grin on her face, Kimberly takes the Grumble the Magic Elf book and gives it to Skull. Skull mocks the title and then opens the book. Grumble tells them hello and Bulk and Skull freak out. Skull tosses the book, which lands neatly into Billy's hands. Bulk tells them they will pass and Skull adds, thanks anyways. Bulk and Skull run down the hall. Kimberly comments, I guess they weren't into reading. Billy, Adam, Rocky, Tommy, Kimberly, and Aisha laugh.
