The Youth Center is hosting the Angel Grove Junior High cheerleading tryouts. Kelly, Kimberly's cousin, is hoping to make the team. Bulk and Skull enter the Youth Center and head straight for Kelly, Kimberly, Jason, Billy, Tommy, Zack, and Trini. Bulk comments, well, well, well. Looks like the wonder tot made it to the cheerleading tryouts after all. Too bad you won't make the team! Skull adds, yeah, too bad and laughs. Kelly responds by asking them why don't they pick on someone with their own IQ? Kimberly adds, yeah, I think the zoo might be down the street. Bulk gets angry. You think you're so smart. I bet you can't do this. Bulk goes through his version of a cheer routine, much to the amusement of everyone at the Youth Center and the embarrassment of Skull. During the routine, Bulk's pants rip, which creates a lot of laughter. Skull quickly comes to his aid, by covering the ripped pants with his hat. As discretely as possible, Bulk and Skull leave the Youth Center.

Bulk is determined to join the football team and Skull is just as determined to help him. Bulk and Skull enter Angel Grove High School. Bulk has a helmet and shoulder pads on and Skull is carrying burlap sack. Jason and Tommy chuckle. Bulk states, make way for Angel Grove High's newest and most valuable player. Skull yells, yeah, watch out! Skull runs to the end of the hall and turns around and faces Bulk. Skull yells, alright Bulkie! Try and take me out! Bulk grabs the football out of Jason's hand and charges down the hall. Skull gives a nervous grin when Mr. Caplan steps out of a classroom and heads straight for him. Bulk gets so much momentum that he ends up flying towards Skull. Skull gets out of the way, but Mr. Caplan isn't so lucky. Unable to stop, Bulk crashes into Mr. Caplan. The pair land on the stairs. Skull goes over and shouts, outside! Skull laughs as Bulk and Mr. Caplan untangle themselves. Mr. Caplan shouts, Bulk, what have I told you about roughhousing in the hall?! That will be one week of detention for both of you! Skull makes faces of outrage as Bulk resigns himself to more detention. After school, and before heading off for detention, Bulk and Skull stopped at the Youth Center.
